Roles & permissions

Map your existing Fluxer roles to Nighthawk permission groups.

1

Create groups

In the Roles & Permissions section, create or edit groups and assign existing server roles to them. Server owners always retain full access, and changes take effect immediately.

2

Restrict commands

Allow or deny individual commands per group. For example, let Helpers use warn but keep kick and ban limited to Moderators. Junior Moderators might only view cases.

3

Restrict dashboard sections

Control which dashboard pages each group can see. Helpers might only access Overview and Cases, while Admins can configure Automod, Logs and Appeals.

4

Default groups explained

Owner has full access. Admin can configure the bot and manage staff. Moderator handles day-to-day moderation. Junior Moderator has limited command access. Helper can assist with minor tasks.

5

Audit permission changes

Permission group edits are logged as cases or audit events so you can see who changed access and when. This prevents accidental privilege escalation.
