Getting started

Add Nighthawk to your Fluxer community and run your first moderation command.

1

Invite Nighthawk

Click “Add Nighthawk” on the home page and authorize the bot for your Fluxer community. You need Manage Server or Administrator permissions to do this. Once authorized, Nighthawk will join your server and create its default configuration.

2

Open the dashboard

Sign in with your Fluxer account and select your server from the server list. If you do not see it, make sure you are logged into the right Fluxer account and that Nighthawk has the permissions it needs.

3

Set up permission groups

Before anyone uses commands, map your existing server roles to Nighthawk groups: Owner, Admin, Moderator, Junior Moderator and Helper. This controls who can run which commands and which dashboard sections they can see.

4

Run your first command

Try n!warn @user reason. Nighthawk will create a numbered case, optionally DM the user, and log the action if logging is enabled. You can view the case later in the dashboard or with n!case <number>.

5

Get help any time

Use n!help to see a list of commands you have access to. For detailed setup help, join the support server or browse the rest of these guides.
