Reaction roles

Colour roles, game pings, pronouns, notification opt-ins: all the roles your members should be able to hand themselves. Build the panel visually, pick how it behaves, and Nighthawk posts it and keeps the roles in sync from then on.

What you get

  • Visual panel builder with multi-embed messages and a live preview
  • Six modes, from a simple toggle to exclusive picks and time-limited roles
  • Cap how many roles a panel can grant, and gate it behind a required role
  • Optional DM confirmation whenever a role is added or removed

How it works

Build a panel on the Reaction Roles page: name it, pick the channel, stack as many embeds as you need with your own titles, colours, images, fields and footer, then map an emoji to each role. The preview shows exactly what members will see before anything is posted.
Choose how the panel behaves: Standard toggles a role on and off, Exclusive turns the panel into a radio group that strips previous picks, Add only ignores un-reacting, Remove only takes a role away, Reverse flips both, and Temporary grants each role for a duration you set per mapping.
Add guardrails per panel: a maximum number of roles per member, a prerequisite role members must already have, a conflicting role that locks them out, and plain text above the embeds that supports the same {variables} as the rest of Nighthawk.
Publishing is one click. The bot picks the request up within seconds, posts the panel, adds every emoji itself and remembers the message so later edits update it in place. From chat, n!rr list, send, sync, repost and delete cover the same ground.
